In the above map, you can see where I grew up and where I moved to for college. Elberton is a small town that is nicknamed the Granite Capital of the World. I visited Cleveland, Georgia often as a child, and it is 20 minutes away from Dahlonega. I was familiar with the area, and I chose to continue college there. Enough about me, let's get into the data.
The above map depicts the Great Migration of 1910, showcasing the percentage of change in major cities. I expected there to be a decrease in the population in Atlanta based on my last project because I noticed a decrease in the Black population from 1910 to 1920. Perhaps the decrease in population occurred later than I was expecting.
